Ella Daniels

Hi, I'm Ella! I am a graphic designer and recent graduate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I have experience in branding, art direction, and motion graphics. My work is guided by a "maker-first" philosophy, bridging the gap between tactile craft and technical precision while bringing a human touch into a digital world.

I was first drawn to art through painting, and exhibited my artwork in 6 monthly exhibitions at the Kittery Art Association in Kittery, Maine (2021). While pursuing my Bachelor's of Fine Arts at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I discovered a passion for graphic design and motion design. I have exhibited design work on campus in Artbash (2023), Motion Graphics Show (2024), and Architecture Lecture Poster exhibition (2024). I have also continued to exhibit my paintings, such as at the New Hampshire Art Association where I also interned as a graphic designer (2024).

At the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I was involved in the student chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) where I lead the social media team as the Vice President. I have also worked on the programs team where I ran main events, and I was also on the marketing team for the annual Visual Communications Design Show.
